Leander Service

Pickup Leander Expansion

CapMetro is continuing to work closely with the City of Leander in an effort to propose a 0.64 square mile expansion in the southwest corner of the current Leander Pickup Zone. This proposed expansion includes popular destinations such as DaVita Leander Dialysis, Cedar Park Regional Emergency Center, Crystal Falls Crossing Apartments, Lakeline Apartments and Randall's. To ensure customer satisfaction, CapMetro staff will closely monitor ridership, wait times and the overall customer experience to understand trends and mitigate any challenges as the expansion is rolled out. If approved, this change would take effect on Sunday, August 18, 2024 and be available to provide service to customers on Monday, August 19, 2024 with the CapMetro fall service change. For more information, view the proposed expanded Pickup Leander zone map.
